Getting Started

Welcome to Reexchange, a new method to barter or sell your recreational property, homes, businesses, real estate, and other assets. Barter is not new, but certainly is enhanced by Reexchange's unique website.

Whether you are a veteran trader or a beginner, it's important to understand how our site works. In an effort to help, these guidelines are here to minimize frustrations so you can get the most out of Reexchange. The "help" tab on the home page will help answer all your questions.

Contact Us

Reexchange is a brand new site, and with any new site, there will be "bugs" that need to be worked out. Please inform us if you discover a problem with the site. If you would like to ask a question, each page has a questions/comments link. Reexchange has a staff waiting to assist you.

Charges

It is FREE to list an item on Reexchange. Featured items are promoted on the home page as well as the categories you choose, and have an extra charge of $19.95. Charges also apply for choosing over 3 additional categories. (See Listing an Item.)

Your home, business, real estate, or property wanted advertising will stay on Reexchange until you accept an offer or delete your listing.

Go Look at Your Garage, Backyard, and Basement!

You may be surprised to find how much trade power or potential cash you really do have! There are no limits to a property's value on Reexchange. If you are unsure of the value, list it to see what offers you get! Pornographic, fraudulent, and illegal items will not be allowed on Reexchange. Otherwise, don't prejudge your items, services, or talents!

FREE Registration!

You can register from any page at the bottom, or from the home page at the List an Item notepad symbol. This will ask you for basic information only, and your information will not be disclosed to mailing lists, etc. When registering, you choose a username that will be your Reexchange identity, and a password that only you will know. For your security, usernames need to be at least 4 characters, and passwords need to be at least 5. Both usernames and passwords are limited to a maximum length of 12 characters. When done filling out the information, make sure you agree to the User Agreement, and click "continue" to return to the page where you were.

You need not register to browse listings, but you will need to be a registered user to:

• List a property or business
• Make an offer
• Check/Send ExchangeMail (our internal e-mail system that was designed for your convenience and privacy)
